New to Digital Freehand

New to Freehand Digital Art , I usually only do sketch on paper with pen. Wanted to practice a scenery with simple shading so here it is. Let me know what you think, I know leaving so much white is terrible but I could not think of anything to put there.

What kind of scenery is it?

I keep coming back to this page and imagining all sorts of things this could be, but I'm going to have to go with a meth heads mouth with rotting teeth and gums. Far better than my digital freehands though so no hate

I am not even sure what you would put in this background haha. Maybe a monster from the deep?.. that is orange?
